The tale of seatox

Along the rural west coast of Ireland, lie some of the most beautiful and untouched beaches in the world. For centuries coastal civilisations have foraged and consumed wild seaweed for its health and beauty yielding benefits. But as times changed, many of its incredible properties were long forgotten in the shadows… Thankfully, this ancient use of algae is making a modern comeback in a time when we need it the most.

a little bit about me

Seatox was born out of my interest in finding natural and vegan alternatives to the synthetic and the chemical additives in skincare products. Having been blessed with a childhood often spent on the beautiful untouched rugged coast of the west of Ireland, I was able to witness a place where there was unique relationship between land, sea and people. Seaweed has been foraged for centuries in Ireland and served many uses from a nutritional food source to fertiliser and ancient spa treatments. It was a natural progression for Seatox to fledge from my Irish roots and appreciation for the plethora of beauty benefits of seaweed.

Seatox is vegan, organic and against animal testing. Sustainability is something I am very passionate about and therefore the packaging is 100% reusable and recyclable.

with the stresses and strains of the modern city lifestyle, I felt there needed to be a way to connect to the atlantic ocean and enjoy the rejuvenating benefits of the sea. That's exactly what Seatox is all about, harnessing the natural & nourishing goodness from the sea.

I hope you enjoy and appreciate this ancient spa ritual of bathing in seaweed and Taking the time out to relax with a seaweed face mask,
